2012 : SUMMARY OF THE YEAR (3/4)
25-12-2012Here is the summary of the year 2012 in 4 chapters, just like every year : the events, the evolution, the website and the material.
3. The website
a) The amount of visitors in the year 2012 is simply 67.190 visitors. That means around 200 different visitors a day with 350 real visits inside those 24 hours (some are coming back in the website the same day after a first visit).
The average visit is a visit long of a time located between 5 and 15 minutes and surfing in approximatively 25 pages inside our challenge's website. The main months are the summer ones and the main hours are at 1PM and at 8PM everyday.
b) there were new items and features in 2012
1. The blue menu "note" is available giving the opportunity to each member to write a short information about a precise climb.
2. The pictures can be sent with the author and the name of the climb.
3. New charts, statistics and requests are available
4. The godfather's website (parallel website) has been created with regular updated tables and classements and some informations countaining the main videos.
5. The other coming parallel challenges , the national challenges, have already had their place in the menu and will have an opened and visible place in the beginning of the year 2013.
c) Of course, because the creation is not the only way, the daily work is also necessary to get a website alive; about 50 news have been edited, the meetings had their presentation first and their summary afterwards, the forum is always alive with many videos and an extraordinary hungarian section, a tribuweb has been opened for the committee to keep the archives of the association somewhere, and the clothes'section had like every year a good maintenance lead by our clothes'manager. The newsletters have been edited thank to the great newsletter team and the numerous translations necessary for them.
