We could enumerate his virtues endlessly, but let’s start with what is the most important to us, namely that we can call him OUR FRIEND.
He is best known for his cycling and organizational skills, his patience and thoughtfulness, his commitment to his beloved wife, Mónika, and last but not least his devotion to Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Blessed Virgin Mary and his favourite saint: Saint Rita of Cascia. In fact, we can claim that daily prayer is behind all his virtues.
He is a respected member of our international cycling movement and we can owe a great deal to him, for instance the elaboration of NataCHA claims in Hungary. Furthermore, he has been the Hungarian moderator of the movement for several years, has been the organizer of all the Hungarian B.I.G. days. He is the claimer of innumerate IronBIGs and hence the godfather of these hills.
He couldn’t even deny his profession of architect. In his cycling trips – let them last one or several days – everything is measured to the greatest precision; distances and timeline needed for each single climb. He is like a walking encyclopedia of cycling. When you ride with him, you don’t need to prepare beforehand. He will know every single turn, every single gradient of the given claim.
I could continue this list endlessly. Most important of all is that he is our friend. We thank the Lord for him and wish him many happy returns of this day in peace, health and blessing with his wife, Mónika.
