ITA-062 - Sacro Monte di Crea

Climbed in a late afternoon of may just after a very strong storm with hail, this 4,10 climb long is very nice, with its average of 5,9 % and max 14 %.
The first km is almost all flat, starting from the little village of Madonnina (altitude 134 mt) , with max slope of 2,8 % (you can see the church to the top of the hill in front of you)
Then a short bit of 7% before half a km in descent.
From here the climb bite, next km with also 11% just before Forneglio.
The ramp out of this village reach the maximum slope of the entire climb = 14 %.
But until the top there is no rest, with % from 9 to 12.
Just on the summit, you turn right in gently ascent, in the park of the Santuario (388 mt altitude)
I climbed in middle week, so no traffic, no visitors at all, in this Santuario and its park (Unesco Heritage).
I found also the track/camino for pilgrims, passing through many Chapels, for to reach the Paradise Chapel to the top of the hill (I climbed it with race bike cos no peoples, i imagine impossible in a busy day, also cos slopes are important and there are some challenging steps to overcome on the saddle).
Large road until Forneglio, then the size decreases.
