REPETTI M A U R O - 01-09-2022:
Climbed red side from Valdagno (fraz Novale) 265 altitude, 6 km of peace and good tarmac, with 370 mt of drop.
Climb where you can find your pace, without use gears too much, because the slope is very regular and constant along the four hairpins in the central part , then becomes more pedalable in the final part after Grendene village.
To the top a bar-restaurant.
The Zovo Pass was climbed by Giro d'Italia in May 1998 from the Valdagno side. The descent towards Schio saw the fall of Alex Zulle and Marco Pantani who were in command, giving victory to Michele Bartoli.
in the morning before climb I went to drink a cappuccino...the other guests in the bar, at 10 am, as usual in Veneto region, drank some.....Spritz !!!
