Family-meeting BIG in Cyprus
07-02-2014It's not an official meeting but it's a good new way to meet too !
As you might remember,François Candau proposed to organise last year a new kind of meeting where driving from climb to climb was not the major point but where we also want to have time enough to visit the country we were riding.
They were only 6 for this first attempt 2 couples and 2 teenagers but they were rewarded by an incredible Irish summer. The summer of the century in Ireland (see report in next BIG review, only in French unfortunatly).
The second attempt will be in Cyprus with the 6 bigs of the island + 3 Asian Bigs in North Cyprus.
The dates are from 1st to 12th of May (or less if you wish)
Please notice time for Tourism and farniente is as important as time for cycling.
Notice also that the distances with car are very short.
An idea of a budget from Paris to Larnaca with good quality sea side hotels in half pension (dinner+ breakfast) is around 2000 euros for 2 persons (see quotation from my travel agency) but you might choose the flights and hotels you like and find cheaper prices.
