ITA-296 - Santa Maria della Vittoria (Montello)

Montello is a wonderful place, is an elliptical shape hill in the middle of Treviso flat, with its max altitude at 363 mt.
Is an heaven for the local cyclists, cos they can choose between more than 40 climbs (called PRESE) that lead to the top.
Any of these you can find in the BIG ; I choosed to climb one of the hardest - the presa n 14 from north (blue big track in the map) - this climb is 3,4 km long and the hard is in the first half, with slope always over 10%, with max 14 %.
The second half is easier, but with 2 ramps again more than 10 %.
A wonderful ascent in the wood, car free and with the last 500 meters flat, when you see the S Maria della Vittoria church.
Like I said you can choose how and where to climb , descent, climb ,descent, between 40 roads (some gravel) and stay always in the Montello....AMAZING !!!!
PS here in 1985 Joop Zoetemelk won the World Championship in Montello circuit (2nd Lemond - 3rd Argentin).
