ONE OF THE STEEPEST ROAD SEEN IN MY CLIMB LIFE !!!! UNSANE CLIMB in Shropshire, first 1,5 km from Ditton Priors is only a warm up for the UNBELIEVABLE part that will comes....you reach and open a gate (yeahhh .... No cars) , and if u dare to look up, YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE YOUR EYES......a crazy straight on up the hill (called INCLINE) with never ending view and, above all STEEEEPPPPP like few times seen in my climb life !!!!
there is 800 meters at 30 %, part of this very slippery (at the start under trees) and a cattle grid at 15 % (with wet tyres u can imagine...)
then road flats a bit (only 10 %) for reach the antennas at top.
This is the highest point in Shropshire.
The INCLINE was an old railway line for carry down rocks material from the top of the Abdon Burf hill.
