Cycled as a circuit from Ryde as didn't see the sense in taking the car across from Portsmouth for a few hours cycling. Cycled to Ventnor Radar Station via Newport Shute. Very steep up Zig-Zag road from Ventnor watefront, A complete contrast in a short distance from people sunbathing on the beach to the Radar station where I needed to don jacket in rain and fog
