ITA-119 - Valico di San Fermo

Climbed 10,7 km side from Dovanelli in the last day of october 2022 with summer temperatures.
Narrow road with no one car ( NO ONE !!) crossed in all the way up and down (this make Apennines a wonderful place for cyclists) - average 6% - max 10-11 %.
The pass (top 1.161 mt) has now lost its importance but in the past it was very popular because the road that crossed it connected two of the main salt routes directed from Genoa to the Po valley.
On the relief above the pass, in a panoramic position on the border between Liguria and Piedmont, stands the chapel dedicated to San Fermo, that worth a little walk climb for admire a super panorama at 360°.
