Although the climb itself is relatively nice and tough, I recommend to consider replacing it by the neighbouring Nockalmstrasse, which is much more extraordinary in terms of size, height (above 2000m), road quality, tourist attractions and beauty of the landscape. Kartner radmarathon also includes Nockalmstrasse.
