ITA-351 - Passo Caldarola

Climbed from Travo (PC) - altitude 168 mt, this non busy road of 15 km, lead you to a desert pass in the Appennini (top of Caldarola 747 mt)
Average 3,9 % - max slope 13 % start from nice quiet village of Travo (nice food at Osteria del Sole) with its wonderful river Trebbia (one of the most clean of Italy).
The slope is gently, traffic absent (only some local farmers) .
During the ascent, you see the wonderful Pietra Perduca and Pietra Parcellara (836 mt high), a superb piece of stone overlooking the valley (destination for walkers).
You reach the Passo at a crossroad, from where come the others 2 sides of the climb.
