Very long and nice climb from Aosta. Constant views on the main valley and the mountains around- At 2 km from the top, Monte Bianco emerges in the horizon. This is an emotion. Pila is a ski station developed 60 years ago. After a meadow with a modern church there is a long tunnel under the town. If you want to see the "piazzetta" (central square" ) you have to take the second exit on the left.
