40 years/40 FAQs - Nr 01 - Timers

What is the use of the timer-table shown in the climbs'pages ?

It gives you the category in which you are currently according to your previous times.

And above all, it gives you a very good idea of the time you'll use to ride another climb of our list.

Example

You had a time of 1h35 to climb Alpe d'Huez (S). The timer-table shows that you are near the group "timer 6".

That means that if you want to climb the Stelvio (NE), you'll need approximatively 2h44 to climb it.

The timer-table helps you to prepare your climbs during your travels or tours.
