The side from Anzola (mt 766 alt - Parma province- Emilia region) , 10.4 km long, is a challenging climb with slope very regular between 6 % and 9 %, with zero possibility of rest; it winds along the slopes of the Tomarlo mount, one of the highest peaks (mt 1802) of the Emilia-Ligurian Apennines.
Road very large from bottom to top, and, strangely for Apennines, the tarmac is very good.
Traffic absent (and this, like most Apennines climbs, make these hills a paradise for cyclist), and with no human settlements along all climb.
