Strava show both sides in a ride from York to Sutton Bank and return home from Malton. Please note that the west side is 25% and it's a busy main road. The chalk white horse can only be seen in it's scenic glory from the south side approach on a much quieter narrow 25% lane ascent. At the top in Hambleton is the North Yorkshire Moors visitor centre, cafe and bike shop and hire centre
