The road is closed between km 9.3 to 10.5 due to construction works (cyclist also not permitted) but there exist a tarmac detour on a steep narrow road to the left cca. 400m before the closure. Then you can return to the BIG via road no. 294.

Great climb! Although it is technically not part of the climb, but worth to continue on a tarmac road another ~3 km till Labska Bouda refugee house on a beautiful tundra like landscape.
