ITA-375 - Valico di Monte Sole

The side from Sibano (prov Bologna- region Emilia R.) is what I call "killer climb" , short (2,7 km) road but evil ! ! !
infact average is almost 11 % with bit at 20 %.
Road not large and very bumpy (typical of Apennines) , traffic = zero.
This place is sadly known for to be the zone where Nazi-fascist troops did the Monte Sole/Marzabotto massacre in 1944.
Worth a visit - for not to forget - the monuments to the top, and the nearby cemetery and remains of S.Martino church.
Car Park = I suggest go to the top, where just 200 meters before end of climb from Sibano side, there is a big park - but also no prob to find it at the bottom in the village.
