REPETTI M A U R O - 31-07-2022:
Climbed red track from Ottone square (alt 496 mt), you take on the right the road Sp 52 that is steep in the first km (top 13 % ) ;
the first 5km of the climb is steeper than the 2nd five ;
last km totally flat in the middle of pine trees ; you reach top at 1092 mt at the cross with other 2 roads (there is no plate of the pass).
the road is very very quiet and has some large hairpins ;
I've crossed 3 cars and 3 free horses during the climb,
tarmac in good condition.
Ottone is a queit village on the border province Piacenza and Genova (is in Piacenza land, but people speak Genova dialect).
I suggest - after climb - a dish of local food, Coppa and Salame, in the bar in the square.
