Starting from Chiesa Valmalenco (roundabout Vassalini) this very spectacular climb of 17 km counts 1054 mt of drop with 21 hairpins and 15 tunnels ( 2,4 km in tunnel of which 1,2 cobbled).
Between Campo Franscia and the top , max slop of 13%.
Several refugees-restaurants on the top, near the 2 dams of Campo Moro and higher, Alpe Gera dam (impressive wall 174 mt high)
View on famous Disgrazia mount, mt 3678 high.
Reduced traffic; it is recommended to install lights for the tunnels.

Lago di Alpe Gera is paved to just before the dam 2008m and then again the last bit up to the dam at 2130m.
