The German " Imperial Way " started with the ancient climb of Cancano, when Medieval caravans brought wine to trade for salt in Central Europe.
After Middle Ages, this climb was used for the construction of the big Cancano Dams.
The climb is all in the sun, along a scent pine forest.
On the top, the view of the winding road is superb.
