J'ai roulé à plusieurs reprises autour des ascenseurs. Le versant S2 est sans intérêt et très dangereux. Il y a beaucoup de voitures qui roulent à des vitesses trop élevées. J'avais l'impression d'être sur un circuit de courses automobiles. La piste cyclable, un peu à côté, est un bien meilleur choix. La vue y est splendide

I did this climb on 11-2-2023 from the south side, but I started in the village because there is a nice parking-place with view over the Canal. I cycled along the Canal to the foot of the Ascenseur, but the lowest point showed out to be under the bridge. The official climb started up the bridge. I cycled up along the cyclepath instead of the big road. And my finish was at the top of the Ascenseur, much more logical then the roundabout with the official finish.
