Climbed orange track side from Mongrando (altitude 355 mt) for 11 km ;
the first km shows two 13 % parts with downhill, than a 5 km where u can use the big front ring ;
during the climb many little and nice villages are crossing with beautiful churches everywhere ;
after Donato village (altitude 700 mt) , the last 3 km to the top are in the forest, and you climb this little mountain - called Serra - reaching the castle Rubino at 855 mt.
These particular hills are part of a morainic relief of glacial origin called = Morainic Amphitheater of Ivrea
