When you leave the L142 for the last 4 km to the top mention this: You arrive at the bottomstation of the cablecar after 300 meters. There is a unpaved piece of road of about 100 meter with a barrier. You can pass the barrier and afther that it's all asphalt to the top! Nice view on top near the Belchenhaus.
