We did this climb on 7-6-2019, the start was a disaster because of parking-problems in Mendrisio. I advice either take a parking-garage in Mendrisio or drive up the track and park along the climb outside Mendrisio.
The track ended at the trainstation, but you could not do it with a roadbike: I walked 750 m.
The profile shows a last section down. I do not know if that is correct but to reach the trainstation Bella Vista (with a splendid vieuw on the lake) there is no descent, so either the track is wrong, either the profile is wrong.

Op 16 juli 2012 was dit mijn laatste Zwitser van de lijst en dus memorabel. Niet al te moeilijk, helaas geen mooi uitzicht tijdens de klim. Dit wordt deels gecompenseerd door prachtig uitzicht bij het stationnetje, niet voor niets Bellavista genaamd. Doe deze tip wel met de MTB, want met de racefiets vind ik die laatste honderden meters niet te doen.
