745 - Passo di Tremalzo

Climbed in a wonderful autumn day with superb tree colors, this climb can be divided in 2 parts :
the first 8 km from Storo mt 391 to Passo Ampola mt 747 is a primary large road with gentle slope - 4 % av - , that goes up in a very narrow valley, in the shadows and very cold ;
the second 13 km from Passo Ampola to the top 1696 is a secondary road in the middle of the forest with harder slopes - av 7,5 % - max 12 % - and narrowest road.
Tarmac is very good, traffic in october absent.
You reach the top when the tarmac finish, near the restaurant .
From the top you can go down until Garda Lake BUT ONLY with a mountain bike, infact the road - wonderful - is totally gravel.
