Climbed in a 40 degrees day, this is a beautiful climb, above all after village of Antrona (900 mt).
The first 4 km from Villadossola (mt 261) are challenging (8-10%)
Then 10 km very fast (from 0 to 4 %)
3 Km at 6 -7% to Antrona ;
from here you enter in a beautiful valley with hard slope - for 7.5 km avarage 8,1% - (with a maximum of 14 %) for reach the dam to the top (mt 1.504) and the Cavalli (horses) Lake, with its absolute amazing green colour.
Traffic is surely busy in summer weekends, road is narrow after Antrona, tarmac good.
